How It Works
Strategy overview, risk controls, and operating modes
Three-Step ORB Strategy
Opening Range Breakout trades three daily sessions:
- Asia — 00:00 UTC — early momentum
- London — 08:00 UTC — European open
- New York — 09:30 ET — US cash open
Each session identifies the opening 5-minute candle range, then enters on a confirmed breakout with volume confirmation.
Bob — AI Chart Analyst
Before every trade Bob reviews:
- Last 15 minutes of the target symbol (5 m candles)
- BTC market context as a regime filter
- Funding rates, news sentiment, liquidation heatmaps
Bob returns a GO / NO-GO verdict. A NO-GO skips the trade regardless of ORB signal.
Kill Switch
Two automatic circuit breakers protect the account:
- Consecutive Losses — halts trading after N losses in a row (default 5)
- Daily Loss Limit — halts if total daily loss exceeds the configured % of balance
Both reset at midnight UTC. You can also manually resume via the Dashboard force-close controls.
Paper Trading vs Live
Toggle Paper Trading Mode to simulate without real orders:
- Paper ON — Supabase records all trades but Binance orders are skipped
- Live — Real USDT market or limit orders placed on Binance Spot
P&L in paper mode is calculated from real-time prices but no actual funds are risked.
